Automatic Weights
Extra tips to fast Skin character...Here we go!!
After complete descaling, matching with the part of body, this time to generate the bone and applying the weight using Automatic Weights. This method was very interesting because I don’t need to check 1 by 1 which part that skin need to follow the bone. This bender feature really helps me. The problems are this method not fully correct the calculation. Need to adjust a little bit to make this character proper moving.
We can see on this picture. my head bode was connected to head skin. how its work? to know how is work the red on the head will follow the head bone, and the blue color will not follow head bone. easy to understand right? top of the bone is the head bone. I has been selected, and then the red green, yellow and blue color will appear.
To understand which part of skin will follow the head bone, the red one will 100 percent follow the bone, and the yellow will follow 50 percent and green 20 percent. the blue one 0 percent follow the head bone. now understand only head will moving when I move the head bone and the body will not follow. this is how its work.
